Hope you are having a good holiday. I spent the first part with our family in Asturias, more specifically, Oviedo. If you have never been there, I recommend a trip, if possible in Spring or Summer. Here I hope to entice you with this snap of the Prerrománico asturiano.
Oviedo is the city of urban statues. I don’t think you can find more per square metre in another city, at least in Spain. This is a suggestive winter example. A traveller, by Urculo, an artist from Asturias. Tourists sit on the suitcases to get a picture made.
The young lady is my daughter -here, not dressed in Motrilian fashion- in front of my mother’s Christmas tree. She is a bit of a show girl, so she won’t mind appearing on the blog.
The second part of my holidays is far away from Asturias, in a very old city which is like my second home. I come every year, if I can. Guess where this is?
A funny thing: when I was on the plane, almost before landing, I recognized a familiar tune playing on-board. ¡The 12 days of Christmas! Not as good as ours, though. You can check it on José Enrique’s blog, where he has posted a video of our performance at the School, with a wonderfully imaginative text
It would be nice of you could upload a picture or a comment connected to your holidays. Let’s be a bit personal…
